What was the standard sportline stereo head unit supplied

does any body know what was the standard sportline stereo head unit supplied with the car, and was their a cd option. im thinking of maybe going back to original.

All Mk1's came without stereos, optional extra the local VW dealership added, so there isn't a standad as such.
Just make sure you wire new switched live from fusebox for whatever you fit, don't use permanent live.
