Washer pump

Can anyone help please, my washer bottle pump is getting no power from the stick but it does work if I put it on the battery, and the earth is ok on it, how can I sort this and is there a DIY way of doing it, plus I have no working radio HELP u know what it's like roof down and no tunes playing, thanks 

check fuse?

Done that first thing i did 

take the ignition plastic off and look at the base of the wiper stalk, you'll see the metal contacts for the washer pump. give them a clean and bend them a bit if not making good contact

Yup this is what i had to do to, works a treat now, altho dont bend it to much because you dont want water blasting out all the time hahah
