vr6 mk1 cabby tacho mod

got a obd2 aaa vr6 engine etc in my 83 plate gti cabby,just want to know the colour ouput wire on the tacho as have been told a can get a converter box from somewhere or theres one on ebay, to get my rev count working,if anyone knows

plus the hazzards/indicator light, lights up dim on the dash and does not  work,

what type is it, does it have a coil or later one with coilpack?

mk1 rev counter wire is red/black to D/26

as for indicator problem, check fuse #19
