VDO gauges

will they only fit a gti? my driver has the fittings for them but wil they wire up? cant see the cell and battery ones not doing, but i dont know. anyone who does?

Yes they will fit and it is possible to wire them up to work. Infact a lot of gauges are the same size. I currently have a set of smiths gauges, one is a voltmeter, another is a clock and the last is a fuel indicator meter.

Err, sorry did you mean the dashboard clocks?

No, no, the three clocks in the centre consol, u were right. im after some to fill the holes really. saw some going on ebay, cells, volts and 'bar' not sure what this indicates. i didntr know weather theyd go in so i didnt bid, sold now anyway. so anybody with any??

The bar is the one for the oil pressure and needs to be mated to a sender unit screwed into your head (car not yours  :wink: ) ) , with twin terminals - one for the gauge and one to link to the dashboard  buzzer to alert you to low pressure.
