Upgraded wiper motor-arms going wrong way!!!
Done the mk2 upgrade just about, all works fine apart from the arms are going down towards the bonnet first then up to window.
I joined up the obvious wires red to red green to green and brown fixed to motor it self which left white and blue with no obvious colours the mk2 motor end. So should I simply swap the terminals they going to to fix my problem?
Btw it's pissing it down now else I would've tried this

You need to reset the 'at rest' position of the mechanism then fit the wipers at this position.

Take everything out the car again…
Connect the permanent (well, permanent with ignition) 12V and earth connections to and let the motor run until it stops, ie its at the 'parked' position
Figure out how to attach the wiper mechanism so it sweeps the desired direction and back again. It will be pretty obvious once you can see the mechanism. Fix this to the motor so its at rest position (at the end of the stroke, not in the middle of one) coincides with the motor's.
Put it back on the car
Put the wipers on so they're lying flat near the bottom of the windscreen
