Randomly comes on.
Hello Ladies and Gents,
I have an issue with my 1989 mk1 golf, the temperature gauge on the cluster is not working, I have replaced the senders by the engine bay.
What could be a possible issue that could cause this? As I cant source the Cluster part itself in South Africa.. :/

Could be the cluster itself mate. Take it out and take it apart and clean all the points up.

Go gently with it mate. Don't go breaking the circuit board on the back (the blue bit)
