temp guage wiring

Hi,

I have recently been doing a lot work in my engine bay and now everything is up and running again my temp gauge seems to be dead. The thermostat for the fan still works which is good. Can anyone tell me where the sensor and sender are etc etc so i can check it out?

From memory it's at the front of the engine on the aluminium pipe which has the 's' shaped hose on which goes to the water pump and the top rad hose. It's a bronze type sensor with a spade connection on…


… I think.

I went to re-connect it this morning and I have located the cable but can;t see where I connect it to.  Is there any chance of a picture?  Would be much appreciated.
