Speedo Renewal
I need to swap from a KMH clock to an MPH one. Haynes gives little info on this. How is the cable held in at the clock end …push, clip or screw in ? I'm expecting limited room to manouvre inside the dash so imagine it will be a feeling, rather than seeing kind of job. :dontknow:

it's push fit. iirc the end has a squeezy bit on the side of it you squeeze in with your fingers, then it'll just pull out….if that makes sense.
You could try and push the cable in a bit through the bulkhead to get a bit more room to play.

As instructed above, definately pull off but you need to squeeze the clip together.
You should be able to reach round and pull the rubber vacuum tube off the clocks its gives you a little bit more room. The vaccuum tube was the tightest thing on the clocks, i.e. stopped them from falling forward to allow access.
I have hands like udders and I managed it recently without drawing blood.
