Smoking Dash. Please help me
Recently the fuse for the rear lights blows. I know the previous owner has played around with the electrics as both the rear lights are on the same fuse.
I replaced the fuse several times trying to find the fault and today after taking both rear lights out cleaning etc they worked. Only problem now is there was smoke coming out from the drivers side dash area and the fuse was hot. It is the same rating and find this strange as it did not blow.
Im thinking im going to have to strip down the dash etc but before I do can anyone please give me any advice.
many thanks
Hass

I pulled out the switch to find a wire completely burned out. have now looked behind the fuse board and a conector and a few wires are also burned through.
Does anyone know if the this circuit (lights wipers etc) can be replaced on its own or does it need a whole new loom
Any info much appriciated
Thanks
