smokey heater?

right, finally got my heater working, ready for the bitter weather but the cabin seems to be filling up with alot of smoke? white smoke, not plumes of the stuff but deffo hazy?

any reason to this? also smell of fumes and it burns my nostrils!!! more noticably when stationary  :dontknow:  :dontknow:  :dontknow:

probably gonna die very soon.. although it maybe just the crap clearing from it where it hasn't been used for so long.

does it smell like coolant, or is it more of an acrid smell? if the latter was the matrix changed recently? if so sounds liek it wasnt washed properly and all the packing oil is slowly burning off. it will eventually get better if so

hello johnny, yeh more of an acrid smell, ill keep running the heater through, see if it clears up, as blans mentioned the guy who i bought it off said the electrics were iffy, so im guessing the heater hasnt been run in a while, worse case i guess ill replace it!
