Series 1 Dash, fitting to a later model...

howdy

well i got hold of a series 1 gti dash, and will be fitting it to my G reg caddy diesel…

im guessing i can still use the original loom? ive looked and they all match up, the only difference i can see so far, is the fuse box connectors are different…

anyone got any info on it?

use the series 2 loom the headlight connector needs the reostat swapping to the other side, the fog light switches etc need a couple of wire swapping and the actual clocks one needs all cabled rearranging ( refere to haynes wiring manual)
