rev counter cooling fan and dash lights not work

Help   ! When u turn the ignition on everything works but the cooling fan and I have a constant flashing red light on the temperature guage bit. So then I have to turn the lights on which then knocks the dash light, rev counter off but turns the engine cooling fan on Its making no sense at all   Plus my horn doesn't work. Its not funny anymore now.

Have you checked to see if your fuse is wet?

Have a look at the earth strap that attaches to the rocker cover. I changed the gasket the other week and the strap dropped into the engine bay out of sight. The results were similar to yours but not exactly the same. It could be a good place to start.

Well thank you dano  one of the wires had come away from the strap. now just have to solve a few more problems and i might be okay for the summer.
