quick question don a bam 20vt conversion need to gt the rev counter working anyone know where to wire it off ? colour and location would be great

It will depend on if you are running coil on plug or a wasted spark coil pack. If your running a wasted spark coil pack then you need to take two pick offs from each of the coil lines (one from 1-4 and the other from 2-3), then you need to fit a diode in to each of the lines, connect them together and then connect a zenor diode, then from that run a cable to the input to the rev counter cant remember what wire it is tho sorry.

If you search for 20v conversions on here or on CGTI you should come across a guide on how to rig it up and which wire it is to the clock ribbon wiring.

If your struggling to find the info let me know and I'll draw you a picture and let you know which wire to connect up.

its running a qpeng and so the coils are on the plugs

i ll have a search see what i can find :)

1.8t conversion

sorry bud, nothing to do with your car witch is looking a beast by the way...but do you now haw to convert the o2j gearbox,,so it has a cable speedo..
