relay number 43 mk1 golf

help my relay number 43 on mk1 golf cabrio is kaput and struggling to find one is relay53 the same?

nope 43 is coolant level warning light control relay its specific. #42 is same though. you dont actually need it so for the short term just remove the relay entirely. all it means is coolant level warning wont work, so get out of the car and look at it

pre-90 mk2 gti all have them as well
