Rear speakers

Got some 6x4s that I want to fit into plastic cornershelves either side of the parcel shelf. The shelves have plastic poles underneath that fit the holes in the speaker, but can see no way of retaining the speakers on the poles. Obviously needs to be strong fittings as holds weight of speaker. Has anyone got any tips for doing this?

use the original  nut type retainers and rubber washers that used to be there in the first place…

i take it u never had speakers there b4 so if u havent got them get down to vw or better still the scrappy should have loads as they use the same fittings in mk2 golfs too..

if u dont know wot im talking about have a look at wot hholds the front speakers in place in your door panels as these fittings r found there too!

Cheers G60RGE, but don't have front speakers either at the moment. Car has only ever had nice centre speaker  8) . Can't see anything in place ready to use under the shelves. I'll try a VW dealer on Monday.
