Rear speaker wiring-anyone out there?!
8) Hello cool dubbers!!
Does anyone know where i can get my rear speakers wired in-was actually thinking about getting an acoustic shelf made up to replace knackered old parcel shelf and then replace the humungous front door speakers for nice flat ones!!!
Am in middx/surrey border
Cheers

HIya mate, not quite sure what you're after really. Wiring in speakers is and easy job and mounting them in the rear shelf is a piece of cake. One problem with it though is not being able to hear them when the roof is down!
As to the rear speakers I recently changed mine fo much bigger three way jobbies and the improvement in sound is 1000%. IMHO I'd do that rather than cutting the shelf.
If I remember rightly the fronts are only 4 1/2 or 4 1/4 inch wide so really they're on the small side.
As for routing wire from the head to the back it's easy to take the carpet edges up and remove the rear bench and pass the wires through.
Anything else let me know.
