Quite annoying
My heater fan speed control switch is doing my head in . Just before xmas the switch stopped working, so i had no fan speed just off.
Bought a new switch from GSF installed the switch, turned it of worked at all the speeds. Turned it off and now nothing again.
anyone had this before?? or shall I just not have a fan

Popped fuse?
The problem is your heater fan, they get a bit worn which melts the switch and pops the fuses, might want to get a new or refurbed/scrappy one.

Or a bad connection on, or dodgy, resistor pack. I think its in a bit of exposed position, or something.

the fan heater is a right pain in the neck to change right?

Bad connection probably wouldn't melt the switch, damp might at a pinch.
Check the fuse is the right one if it has a bigger than normal one it'll be a new heater fan you'll be wanting.
