putting in my stereo
i'm putting in my stereo atm and the wiring is old style and need to pull out the old wires and re route them. i was wondering if there is an easy to get to the wires. iv tried taking out the glove box but it looks like its part of the dash. would i have to take the off the bolts on the side by the door and lift the dash out to get behind it ??
any answers would be great to save me from ripping the dash apart to save me from destroying a mint dash.

Why do you need to pull all the old wiring out, its easier to add to it and fit stereo.

Are the wires in the wrong place? Are you using a DIN to ISO adapter, or cutting off the old plugs and using, say, a terminal block (that's what I did). The glovebox is integral with the dashboard, but I have known people to 'separate' it and then screw it back onto the dash, with no adverse effects.
