Please help

Hi
Recently bought clipper cabrio, now horn sounds when I turn or indicate, this only started today after I had sounded horn

Park with the front wheels dead straight.

remove steering wheel horn pad.

Undo the big nut and pull steering wheel off.

You will see a little copper tab, this connects to the horn ring on the steering wheel, what can happen is that the tab can get pushed down and shorts out on the lower screw that holds the indicator stalk assembly in place.

Bend the tab up and stick some insulation over the screw head.

This is waht happened to mine..

disconnect the wires that come to the horn pad too..

Yeah it was, bit if insulation tape stopped that tho'

Just need the dry weather now
