please help asap!!!!

i have been fortunate eneough to purchase a mk1 series 2 gti 1.6 for a criminal sum but the t*t i bought it from had tried to fix the non starting of the engine via ripping out the alarm and leaving a mess of wires! i have about four wires left to connect and im at a loss as they are all under the dash to the relay/fuse box a thin black wire coming from engine bay a thickish black wire coming from fuse/relay box labeled top 5 directly behind relay L a wire coming from relay L that seems to be red and yellow and another black wire coming from engine bay quite thick!…. Ok im getting a bit dizzy agin now! What was i saying Arrrggghhhhh
