oil warning buzzer

I know this has had loads written about before, but…  the buzzer is going off as soon as I turn on the ignition before turning over the engine and then stays on. What does that mean? The warning light does the same.The sound of an angry dying wasp ringing in my ears is not whats wanted when trying to enjoy driving….makes me want to smash the car into something just to shut it up (or am I just psycho). Please help.

sounds like the wiring behind the clocks is your problem.  

like many i have had this problem.

could be the earth wire, or the 'L' circuit?
