Oil Temp on Mfa

Hi everybody

i get a permanent reading of 146 on the MFA oil temp?

anyone got any idea what it could be or how to test it?  :dontknow:

is there any way to test the sender?

Sender is the one on top of the the oil filter housing with a green wire connected to it.

Not sure about testing it, but Haynes should have some details, I'd imagine…

You can try both running the car with the wire off the sender, and whilst touching the green wire to the housing/engine, to see if the reading is different on the MFA - if not, I'd suspect the MFA itself.
