oil light

just wanted to no if  eneyone has got the prob ive got the oil light keeps flashing all the time but you no the engine is ok it not run :dontknow: ning hot and theres plenty of oil in the engine

I had oil light and buzzer problem. Chances are it's an electrical problem but you first of all need to establish you have good oil pressure.

yes ive tryed  that and i have really good oil pressure we put a oil pressure gauge on the car .do you think it could be the sender unit

my buzzer started with the flashing oil light on Monday new oil pump from VW was £125+vat so i ordered sensor which goes in the right-hand side of the head job done no flashing or buzzing £11.50 ish from vw plus £14 for the 24 mm spanner that i mislaid years ago

Mine goes on when i'm driving and i believe its the switch on the oil filter housing. My oil filter housing hasnt got a switch so i'm going to have to replace the houising with one, so check if you have one. Theres one on the cylinder head too.
