Rear-small: 6203 RS or 6203 2RS (rubber seal) 17mm ID x 40mm OD x 12mm W
Front-large: 6201 RS or 6201 2RS (rubber seal) 17mm ID x 47mm OD x 14mm W

novocaine why pay for a exchange alternator at about ?95 when you can do it your self for about ? 12 ? bearings cheaper if you sent away for them on Ebay

my alternator broke a coil so new was only option.
i will get the old one rewound at some point so i have a spare.

Settling In
2. Mark both front and rear casing so goes back in the same place photo 1.
3. Back of alternator remove the two screws on regulator photo 1A.
4. Lift of regulator photo 1B.
5. Undo front pulley nut and take off pulley watch what order it all comes off in photo 2.
6. Take out half moon key way with screw driver photo 3.
7. Undo the four cross head screws that hold the alternator together use some WD 40 on then photo 4.
8. Get puller and pull the front casing off photo 5.
9. Turn the front casing over and undo the front bearing cover photo 6.
10. No tap out the front bearing form its housing photo 7.
11. Old bearing and front cover photo 8.
12. Fit new bearing into front cover with socket to drive in refit bearing cover photo 9.
13. Re fit front cover over alt shaft and gently tap home photo 9.
14. Pull rear bearing off with puller you can do this at an earlier stage when you have split the casing and got the rotor out I forgot photo 10.
15. Tap new rear bearing on with socket over it tap fully home photo 11.
16. You will see the rear bearing sits in a plastic cup make shore you refit this in the rear casing photo 12.
17. Re fit rotor with front casing back into the rear casing make sure you reline the marks you put on the front and rear casing as in photo 1.
18. Put the four screws back in the casing that you took out in photo 4 and do up even
19. Refit cooling fan and spaces in the order you took then off.
20. Refit pulley and nut.
21. Refit regulator.
CLEAN ALL PARTS BEFORE REFFITING
New parts bearings
