No ignition lights or fuel pump!!

Would really appreciate some help on this..

pull the plug off the ignition switch, and bridge a bit of wire between the red wire p[in and the black wire pin.  all the ignition lights and fuel pump should come on. if they do its the ignition switch, if not either the black wire is duff or you arnt getting permanent 12v to the red wire.
