No Horn...

As it says I have no horn on the Cabby… There is no earth through the steering column. I have 12v at the switch but it doesnt earth and work.

If I remove the steering wheel and earth the tab to the switch housing it works but not to the steering column centre as it needs.

Is there an earth point somewhere that could have corroded or broken?

Hi ,  steering column gets its earth from a small strap located in the engine bay where the steering column meets the rack . It's located with a small self tapper to the body of the rack and a larger ring usually to the left hand rack mount .    

Its a jack up the car job to see what you are doing  :cry:

Thanks for the info... I earthed it as it had no strap but still didnt work, turned out to be the joint between the UJ and rack, stripped and cleaned so it works now...
