newb needing wiring loom help
hi everyone!!
im in need of some help with my mk1 golf 1.8 clipper cab im buying this week….
i have been told it needs a new wiring loom due to some ignition wiring being damaged…!
basically it had a badly installed clifford alarm that has now just this week been removed but due to this bad alarm fitting, i have been told it has burnt some of the ignition wiring in a few different places! a fuka i know!!
so what im trying to find out is, what loom is it i need that includes the ignition wiring????
iv been hunting on the internet with no joy, i know there is a few different wiring looms and im really unsure what one i need to buy??
can anyone help me out???

best bet is to ring crazy quiff and have a chat. he will most likely have one in stock too.

There is one loom which plugs in at the fusebox and comes right across the dash to the switches etc, this is the one you will need!

iv got to ask dom, how sure are you mate???
i just dont want to have to buy twice thats all!!
so i take it thats the dasboard wiring loom???

I've had my whole loom out twice and can confirm this, it depends how much damage is done to yours as to whether you need to replace it all though.
Its a good hour or two job to take do it, and make sure you label things and take pics for reference!

i dowt ill bother trying to fit it myself, im just going to get a loom and pay my mate whos a vw nut to fit it, saves me alot of stress.
i think i see the fuse box loom on ebay for like ?40 so ill try buy that this week n try sort fitting for next week sometime!!
