MPG Meter

Does anyone know of an easy way to disconnect the 'change up' light. I can probably work it out with the wiring diagrams but wondered if anybody has already done it.

Easy. A lot have been done (mine was when I bought it) as I guess people get annoyed by it.

It's just a case of removing the relay the runs it. The only thing is I can't recall off top of my head which one it is!  Anyway, find the right one and you're sorted!

I had forgotten all about this question. The stupid thing comes on intermittently in fifth and as its the same colour as the high beam light its easy to confuse them and dazzle someone, perhaps dazzle is the wrong word with a Mk1.
