Mk1 golf 1.6 convertible carb oil pressure buzzer

Hi this is the first time I have used you guys for help so hear goes

I have just changed over the engine and the oil buzzer will not stop buzzing it only comes on when it revs over 2.5k
I have cleaned both senders and changed the oil filter and earthed both senders one by one with no joy
I have looked over the internet but I only found the wire colours for the gti not the 1.6 carb I think I must have the wires wrong because it did not do this before.
The car is running fine so I don?t think it?s the oil pressure.
Please please some one help its driving me mad

The oil buzzer only goes off when the oil pressure is low and the revs are over 2000 rpm


Check with an oil pressure guage before going any further just in case it is low pressure !

Thank you for your help today I changed both the sensors and tried different wires and hay presdo the buzzer stopped?.. Silence is golden I had tried everything. Just ?6.50 from GFandS made it all go away. I should have stated and the beginning and saved myself a massive headache.
