mk1 ABF conversion

Hi all I have recently fitted an ABF from a mk3 into my MK1.

The engine is running well but there are 2 wires that go to the instrument panel in the wiring diagram but it doesn't say what they do.

One is violet with a white stripe the other green with a white stripe

Does anyone know what these wires do?

I assume one's for the rev counter and and the other is for a warning light?

yeah something like that, you can leave them disconnected
