Missing Connector?

Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone knew whether there should be a wire connecting to the top of where the oil filter screws in? I can see a male spade connecter where it looks like there should be a plug or something?
Not sure what its for… oil temp sensor maybe?

Its on the part where the two oil pipes come out and go into the oil cooler.. referred to as the "Housing" in the haynes manual.

There should be two wires going to two senders on this assembly:

On the top, close to the block, sender with vertical spade connector with Blue/back wire, oil pressure sender (one of two, the other one is on the side of the head, gearbox end)

On the front (45 degree angle, facing the back of the radiator), a sender with a "disc" connector (takes the standard spade connection wire horizontally), green wire, oil temp reading for MFA.
