MFA Stalk wiring

Hi folks,
   just recived a new mfa stalk for a 83gti but i think its for a later one or cabby it has the slider switch to go though the 1 / 2 mode, were my clocks have the switch on them by the taco looked at the wiring the new stalk has a cable with 4 wires and a 4 round pin flat plug on.
I have had the clocks out and the only spare wire at the back is a 2 round pin flat plug that goes into the loom (sorry should have said replacing wiper stalk with no mfa button) can i do a chop job on the wires? any ideas? or is it another 3 month wait for the right switch?

If anyone needs or has the right switch please let me know

sounds like a mk2 switch as i thought all mk1's had it on the clocks or at least the mk1's i've seen have, pm funkstar he might be able to source u one

all sorted found right one on flea bay…
