mfa on g60 engine conversion

hi does any body know if the mfa will still work when a g60 engine has been installed in a mk1

It wont fully . But depending on the wiring some functions [out side temp etc ] will

Why not? It should work just fine on a G60 or any other engine for that matter. What does the G60 have or not have that would cause anything to not work? Clock - electric power, time running - electric power, average MPH - the Hall sender in the cluster, distance driven - same, fuel useage - vacuum and the Hall sender, oil temp - the oil sender, out side temp - the sender behind the bumper.

if you dont keep the original gearbox the mpg needle gauge at the top of the early clocks wont work, plus the mpg digital display wont work right either as the clocks dont understand booooost.  Apart from that everything else will work just fine
