MFA NIGHTMARE

Hi all having a few problems, after a garage tried to start my car with one of those power pack starters my MFA has been a blank screen!
I have looked on the printed circuit board and a resistor and a diode are burnt out! this part number for the PCB is 155 919 044F However i got hold off a PCB 155 919 044C and to my horror this has no vac hose connection!! So never mind i put it all together and plugged the vac hose in dash to stop the hissing, the clock works now but my oil temp stays as — and my outside temp is -40 which i presume is its lower limit! Not that bothered about mpg gauge and mph but any ideas what to check now!! anyone have a PCB 155 919 044F they wanna sell me????  HELP please!!
