intermitent oil light flashing

my oil light keeps randomly coming on and flash's. ive checked the oil and its topped up to the correct level. ive also checked that the wire is connected properly.

anyone have any ideas??

Faulty swtch? maybe.

Change both high and low oil senders [available from GSF] . Read the FAQ at the bottom of the forum . Have you heard the buzzer ?

After you have checked all of the things mentioned above, check the sender wires back to the cluster for intermittant faults and the instrument earth which is above the fuse box on mine.  If they are OK there is a problem in the cluster.  I changed the L-shaped board in mine for a second hand one from Crazy Quiffs and cured it after a month of fannying about cleaning contacts and wiggling wires.
