indicator problems

can anyone advise me on how to  get my mk 1 indicators to work properly. At the moment when i indicate left or right all my indicators flash. when i switch the hazard on and off it work as it should…
i met a few of the guys at the crooked house this thursday and was told it could be my hazard witch, which ive replaced and it still aint working as it should do.

2 things to try , change flasher relay in fuze board [check fuze board dry water leaks can play havoc in MK1 fuze boards , it not unknown to find relays full of water] . Indicator stalks faulty , contact's  could be shorting out causing both to flash .

Its a case of replace and try each item , cheapest is relay .
