indicator problem

so my passenger side rear indicator only works when it wants to, proving quite dangerous sometimes!
 the bulb looks ok and I cleaned
 the terminals on the cluster and contacts on the bulb, which seemed to cure it for a few days but now its not working again.

any ideas?

Replace the bulb , or swop it with the other side . To test it .

Clean the connector block under the lights and look and make sure the centre pin in the bulb holder is not bent .
