Indicator problem. Please help!

After being followed to work by a colleague this morning, it turns out my indicators work but not when braking.

Seems the two cant work as a team lol  

Anyone had this problem before?

Have a look at the contact plate that links all the bulbs in the light cluster. Clean all the individual bulb housings 7 also check the earthing point adjacent to the N/S cluster.
