indicator problem

my hazards work but my indicators dont…
when i move the switch the warning light comes on and thats it.
any ideas?

Do your indicators work off the indicator stalk?

If so, then your Hazard switch is faulty. You can take it appart to clean it, but be careful as it is a tricky one!

If not, then you got a problem with the indicators! Check out all the bulb holders for corrosion etc and clean everything up.

If the hazards work, it's most likely the switch in the steering column, or the wiring leading up to that switch.

Are both indicators (left & right circuits) not working, or just one? - if it's only one, it might be an earth issue (in the LHS of the boot), but if neither, check the stalk-switch and wiring, as above.

Can you advise of the outcome? What was it? I now have the same problem after replacing the dash on mine!?
And it's buggin me…

Sorted mine, it was the single black wire on the back of the hazard switch!

 

the wire was broken then?
