Immobilisers

Hi, as some of you know, my golf was stolen last week and is now dead

so, on the new one im going to get an immobiliser on it.
Basically, what are good ones? any advice? anything like that.

if your after a mechanical one…… then a mul t lock is what i would recommend….. need a "sthil" saw to cut them off and the typical chav thief in todays world couldn't even spell "sthil" never mind have one to hand  

whatever will fit easy enough and work. and not piss me off by going wrong all the time lol

i have an old crook lock handbrake/gearstick lock. and when I park it in the middle of boston i remove the coil lead from the car lol.  I do have a spare hidden under the spare wheel just incase i lose it though lol

as much as i like that idea of hiding one i'd still would not of said on here where it was, its an open site and anyone can look in on it,

chances that someone from here is going to break into it is pretty slim tbf haha.
so just a lock instead of an immolbilisor? seems to be what people do

yup thats not the only thing I do though! I'm not as daft as I look.  well ok maybe but thats not the point
