igntion problems

Hi guys i'm thinking of buying a mk1 golf but the guy says it has ignition problems i was wondering what the possible problems could be before i part with my cash and then cry if its going to cost me the same again to fix. sorry i dont have any more info about the problem the guy hasnt emailed me bk yet but when he does i'll tell you all. oh as i remember its a 1.3.

Depends, could just be the ignition switch which isn't so bad, or could be the actually running of the car, either way I wouldn't let it put you off

its not putting me off ive wanted a mk1 for years and i know that there will always be problems i was just curious from the guys who have been in my shoes and learned from experiance what it could be. thanks for the reply mate
