Take off the steering wheel, three screws to take the wiper and indicator stalks, be careful removing all the plugs (I broke mine and now my full beams won't stay on! ) Then theres just the shaft with a rubber/plastic sleeve which is really hard to remove, but stick at it.
Theres an allen headed bolt to the left of the steering lock housing which has to be removed and then its just a case of yanking off the barrel lock housing (don't trap any skin  ) The switch is just one screw away below the barrel, and make sure you removed this plug too.
Oh yeh firstly take off your column cowling 2 screws not one!
Hope this is of some help! :dontknow:
