I think thats for the oil pressure when its too low.Has it got enough oil ?

Could be the oil pressure senders had it,or the wire is earthing somewhere :dontknow:

thanks guys for your help, i checked the oil preasure switches and tested the oil pressure and it was the oil pressure switch ontop of the oil filter housing that was at fault. got my old man to give the car a tweak and check over and she is running tickerdy boo at the mo fingers crossed…!!

ive also got a problem with the car is draining the battery…ive charged the battery and it works fine for a few days then all of a sudden it needs boosting or a full charge again..dunno weather its a duff battery or my alternator is at fault…? or a bad earth that is keeping the car on a constant live..
if anyone could help me i would be most gratful.
