How to reset the MFA?

Post

I have tried pulling out the 1-2 switch as I read in another post

Hi,

My car has returned from the garage with the MFA screen on all 8's and all the arrows, not flashing.

Does anyone know how to reset this as the other post I read mentioned the 1-2 switch, but this hasn't worked for me?

Thanks,

Steve

I have a similar problem. Just fitted a replacement speedo etc. and my MFA is not working, just showing nearly all lines, even after pulling fuse. etc. Also, when turning ignition on, the Oil warning LED flashes and continues flashing after engine is turned on. Any ideas?

To all,

If you not sure which fuse to pull do the following.

1. Make sure your battery is fairly well charged first.
2. Remove the the positive (+) cable from the terminal of the battery for 30 seconds (count slowly).
3. Replace cable and check.

That way you are 100% sure you are resetting the MFA!
Worked for me twice.

If that doesn't work then good luck because they can be a dozen reasons why it doesn't function!  O_o
