How to replace headlight

Hi guys.

I need some help here. I drive a 2004 VW Citi Golf (Golf I). The left headlight (furthest left) has cracked due to a stone hitting it.

I have bought a replacement light but haven't a clue as to how to remove the old one and get the old one in.

Where do I start? Please help.

It should have the same fittings as the original old Mk1s, just a few screws holding the lamp's metal frame onto the front panel. Take the plastic radiator grille off so you can see how the lights are attached underneath (the grille should just have screws or plastic clips holding it on). See what you find and let us know.
