how to fit a momo steering wheel
right people please help,
ive got a momo and boss (hub kit), the thing is when i took the original steering wheel of my 1993 clipper, the boss wouldnt go on, is there anything else i need to take off b4 i can get the boss on, if so how and what with. :dontknow: :dontknow:

There's 2 different boss's. If yours won't fit then it sounds like you've got the small spline boss and your column is large spline. I just pulled the bus wheel off and bolted the Momo on.

I reckon too that your car must have the larger splined collar on its column and therefore is not compatible with the boss. I've heard that these collars are removable, though I've never tried taking one off myself.
Might me easier to get the larger size boss.

yep it is the large spline adapter you have on your late cab. it does come of sometimes easy sometimes hard. did one on my caddy and had to splitt it with a disc cutters first (careful on the splines) then it just pulled of.

Does anyone know the size etc of the spline on the larger cabrio steering boss as I am having trouble locating the right boss kit.
