help wiring in my alarm to the indicators please

Hi there I have recently purchased this alarm/central locking system

i have fitted the solenoids and run the wires throught the door panels ready for wiring in.

the instructions that came with it seem simple enough but im not sure where to splice onto my indicator wires?#

do i do this straight off the fuse box ( if so what colour are the wires?) or do i do it off the stalk?

any help is much apreciated thankyou

sorry forgot to say its a mk1 gti cabby 91

look for black/white and black/green wires to the stalks, should be labled on indicator unit as L and R. use a mulimeter to confirm they're the right wires before you go choppy choppy
