HELP PROBLEM WITH MY CLOCKS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my clocks seem to set the oil preassure buzzer and light off when you drive the car up the road engine is perfect and newly rebuilt when the local garage that work on mk1's put a set of clocks in that they know work this didn't happen have changed the voltage regulator since but no change (not positive if it was anygood) any ideas or a new set of clocks around 140,000 that work.

Pop the clocks out.
Clean all the contacts you can see.
Test it again
If it still happens the printed circuit board inside the clocks is probably shot. You should be able to replace this with a second-hand version (NB - MK 2 clocks look similar but differ in some rather important respects - the circuit boards may not work).
Oh - to be more precise - the PCB inside the rev counter is the one that is probably causing the trouble.
