help needed with id of parts and wires?

Hi there I am having problems identifying certain components on my 1988 mk1 clipper, 1.8 efi…

it is apparent that the wiring has been modified.

1 what is the purpose of this micro switch on the efi, no wires are attached.



2 what are these sensors, one plug is attached and the other been cut off, should i reinstate them/



3 I found these plugs taped up behind the radiator, one seems to fit a connector on top of the clutch housing, again what is its purpose and should i reconnect it?

4 and lastly this plug [on top of the black hose ] is ot connected to anything and lies on top of the clutch housing, again what is its purpose.

the engine has run ok for several months although very rich….
