Help indicator and hazard woes.

Help!

My indicators don't work.

The relay works.

When I indicate the green dash light comes on steady, but no indicators.

When I press the hazard button the green dash light comes steady on but the light in the switch doesn't, and no indicators.

Studied the wiring diagrams for ages last night and now my head hurts. I have taken the relay plate out to check it for water damage but not done any tests. Not too confident about random fiddling as i'm a bit wary of causing more trouble.

Any ideas?

Assuming all bulbs, fuse etc ok then I would guess it has to be an earthing problem - which unfortunately can be a bitch to sort out. I had a mini some years ago with similar problem and we never fixed the fault!

I would check all the light units and their mountings (as I guess they earth throught these) to check not corroded and check earth straps like on the rocker cover.

Ok, read some old posts and other sites and it seems the hazard switch is a likely cause.

Bit of weekend fiddling methinks.
